In September of 2019, the Republic of Azerbaijan will host the XXXII Congress of the Eurasian Association of the Trade Union Organizations of the Universities. The congress will be held at Baku State University. Currently preparations for the celebration of the 100th anniversary of the foundation of the BSU are in process.
This year, the main topic of the congress is “Social and Labor Relations at the Universities in the Context of Global Integration and Increased Competition.” Participants are invited to discuss the current practice of setting the academic load of professorial and pedagogical staff, as well as the approaches to the remuneration of the employees at the higher education institutions of the EATUOU member countries.
The congress will be attended by the heads of the trade union organizations of the universities – members of the EATUOU, representatives of trade unions of the employees, engaged in the field of education and science, heads of the universities, as well as representatives of the executive and legislative branches.
