INFORMATION LETTER
Dear colleagues, members of trade union organizations! We invite you to take part in the project “CONSTELLATION OF TALENTS: Creative Almanac of Trade Unions”
The electronic collection of the best creative works by representatives of the Eurasian Association of Trade Union Organizations of Universities (EATUOU) will introduce the staff of various universities and countries to the diverse creativity of talented teachers and university employees.
The contest will bring together talented people from university trade union organizations and provide an opportunity to express themselves in various nominations. In the future, the project boundaries may be expanded as new participants – universities from the Russian Federation and neighboring countries – join EATUOU.
The nominations of the announced creative contest reflect different art forms:
- Poetry;
- Fiction prose (short stories);
- Documentary prose (essay/feature story);
- Painting;
- Digital Art;
- Photography;
- Arts and Crafts.
The sections of the electronic collection will be determined based on the results of the work of the EATUOU university selection juries and the editorial board of the collection.
The themes of the nominations are offered for the participants’ choice:
- “The Great Victory is One for All”,
- “We are from the USSR”,
- “Small Homeland”,
- “The Most Beautiful City”,
- “Alone with Nature”,
- “Our Universities”,
- “Trade Unions Today”,
- “My Home”,
- “The Magic of Love”.
Information about the conditions and deadlines of the contest, as well as materials about the contest finalists in the genre of short interviews (with photos), are posted on the official EATUOU website: http://eapoy.org/.
Anyone who is a member of a trade union organization can become a contest participant.
A university employee can submit up to 5 works to their trade union organization in different nominations. The file name should be specified as: “Surname_Nomination_WorkTitle”.
The participant prepares the application in a separate file (see form), and its name should be specified as “Surname. University. Application”.
Volume of a poetry work: up to 2 pages (font 14, interval 1.5). Volume of a prose work: up to 5 pages (font 14, interval 1.5).
Technical requirements for digital photography, painting, digital art, and arts and crafts files: JPEG format, high resolution, the long side of the photograph must be at least 3000 pixels, images should not have author marks, watermarks, added frames, etc.
Works for the Almanac (up to 10 per university) and participant applications are sent by the university trade union committee to the address: eapou@internet.ru. The email subject line should be specified as: “Almanac. University Name”.

I m p o r t a n t: The best works that passed the contest and were published in the electronic collection of the project are used for the subsequent formation of the printed version of the EATUOU publication “CONSTELLATION OF TALENTS: Creative Almanac of Trade Unions”.

The printed Almanac can be seen in the trade union organizations of the universities participating in the EATUOU Contest.
The finalists and participants of the Contest receive a Letter of Gratitude from the Association and a printed version of the Almanac.
