Dear Colleagues,
Six months have passed since the first issue of the EATUOU Creative Almanac was published, and we are now pleased to present the second. As a reminder, the main goal of this publication is to showcase the spiritual wealth and creative talents of our professors, lecturers, and staff across various art forms. It is also important to us that an increasing number of university trade union members participate in EATUOU’s initiatives.
The second competition surpassed the first in all quantitative metrics. The number of universities whose representatives participated in the competition increased by 1.5 times, and the number of submitted works, participants, and finalists also grew. Most of the participants in the second competition submitted their creative works for the first time. This publication introduces readers not only to the best works but also to their authors. We hope that getting acquainted with the Almanac will spark interest in EATUOU’s activities.
A special nomination dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Soviet People’s Victory in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945 was announced this year.
The best works that successfully passed the competition and were published in the electronic collection of the project will be used in the future to create the print version of “CONSTELLATION OF TALENTS: Creative Almanac of Trade Unions.”
I wish all authors of the submitted works new professional and creative successes, as well as health and family well-being. Special thanks to the competition organizers, who invited participants from their respective universities, as well as our professional jury, led by Chairman Professor V.A. Vasilyev (Chuvash State Institute of Culture and Arts) and project coordinator Associate Professor O.V. Tikhonova (Lomonosov Moscow State University), for their selfless work.
Sincerely, President of EATUOU I.B. Kotlobovsky
