“CONSTELLATION OF TALENTS: Creative Almanac of Trade Unions”

Dear colleagues, members of trade union organizations!

We invite you to participate in the project

“CONSTELLATION OF TALENTS: Creative Almanac of Trade Unions”

 

An electronic collection of the best creative works of representatives of the Eurasian Association of Trade Union Organizations of Universities (EATUOU) will introduce colleagues from different universities and countries to the diverse creativity of talented tutors and university staff.

The competition will unite talented people of university trade union organizations and provide an opportunity to express themselves in various nominations. In the future, it is possible to expand the boundaries of the project along with the entry of new participants into the EATUOU – universities of the Russian Federation and neighboring countries.

The nominations of the announced creative competition reflect different types of art:

Poetry;

Fiction (stories);

Painting;

Digital art;

Photography;

Decorative and applied arts.

The sections of the electronic collection will be determined based on the results of the work of the selection jury of the universities of the EATUOU and the editorial board of the collection.

 

The topics of the nominations are offered for the choice of the participants:

 

“The Great Victory – one for all”

“We are from the USSR”,

“Small Motherland”,

“The most beautiful city”,

“Alone with nature”,

“Our universities”,

“Trade unions today”,

“My home”,

“The magic of love”.

Information about the conditions and terms of the competition, materials about the participants of the competition in the genre of short essays or interviews (with photos) are posted on the official website of the EATUOU: eapoy.org.

 

Anyone who is a member of a trade union organization can become a participant in the competition.

A university employee can send up to 5 works to their trade union organization in different nominations. The file name should indicate: “Last name_Nomination_Name of work”.

The participant submits the application as a separate file (see form), in its name it is necessary to indicate “Last name. University. Application”.

The volume of a poetic work: up to 2 pages (font 14, interval 1.5).

The volume of a prose work: up to 5 pages (font 14, interval 1.5).

Technical requirements for files of digital photographs, works of painting, digital art, decorative and applied art: JPEG format, high resolution, the long side of the photograph must be at least 3000 pixels, images must not have author’s marks, watermarks, added frames, etc.

Works for the Almanac (up to 5 from the university) and applications of participants are sent by the trade union committee of the university to the address: eapou@internet.ru. In the title of the letter it is necessary to indicate: “Almanac. Name of the university”.

 

Publication and distribution of the information letter about the competition: October 1, 2024

Reception of works by trade unions of universities: October 1 – November 30, 2024

Selection of the best works by members of the expert jury of universities – December 1-5, 2024

Reception of works by the editorial board of the Almanac: December 5, 2024

Review of works for electronic publication: December 5-10, 2024

Editing (checking spelling, punctuation) of texts of works – December 10-15, 2024

Layout and design – December 15-20, 2024

Publication of the electronic collection – December 25, 2024

 

Important:

The best works that passed the competition and were published in the electronic collection of the project will be used in the future in the formation of the printed version of the publication “CONSTELLATION OF TALENTS: Creative Almanac of Trade Unions”.
